  4. Master suite retreat.  Open plan design.
  5. Clever water control.  Touchscreen feature to control shower options such as temperature and water flow.
  6. Freestanding bathtubs.  Sets the mood for relaxation and rest.  
  7. Custom vanities.  Floating counter tops and custom mirrors/medicine cabinets.
  8. Geometric  tiles.  A great design solution for those who wish to add depth and visual interest to a plain, neutral space.
  9. Bigger showers.  More walk-in showers with oversize panes of glass or solid walls that completely enclose the space.
  10. Sustainable style.  Incorporating more recycled, reclaimed and upcycled materials and products.
  11. Bathrooms that reflect the design of the home. Bathing zones that are designed in a way that makes them look and feel like an extension of the living room.  Use of vanities that resemble furniture, floor runners and lounge sofas.
  12. Gray tones.  Add pops of color or white to create a little pizzazz. 
  13. Engaging lighting.  Use of smart, intuitive and engaging light.
  14. Grout as a design feature.  People are seeing the possibility of using grout creatively in their bathrooms to show off the pattern of how a tile is laid and to highlight specific tile types and use of contrasting grout.
